It was the moment of pride for parents and teachers as our young learners celebrated another milestone on 9th July 2020. PYP Kindergarten 2 and Grade 6 students were honored at the annual PYP Graduation and Moving up Ceremony. A joyful occasion marked by the presence of Principal Wu.
The ceremony started with Lions K2’s creative rendition of ‘Imagine That’, showing us how they envision their future selves could be. They also belted out the oldie but goodie, ‘We are the world’. Following that, Dragons K2 wowed the crowd with a dance routine of 《少年》 or ‘Youth’. Emotions welled up as Dragons K2 recited《爱与梦想》or ‘Love and Aspirations’ and graduating students presented bouquets to their teachers as a token of appreciation. The Moving up ceremony commenced shortly after the performances. Each student was appreciated for his/her hardwork and great overall achievements. Confidence and pride filled the atmosphere as the graduants stride across the stage to receive their certificates from Principal Wu. The event ended with the Grade 5/6 students explaining their exhibition projects to the esteemed guests through colourful charts and models which they made after thorough research on their chosen subjects.
Finally, our young learners did it! Congratulations! We wish them all the best as they set on their next milestone.
