As our first day back together was Easter Monday, we celebrated with an egg hunt outside in a courtyard meadow. The children found not only chocolate, but fun words to put together to make sentences. They also revised their classroom agreements (aka rules) to include how to practice safe learning while at school during this outbreak time.
Along with our usual Language and Math classes, we reviewed the Water Cycle vocabulary and practiced explaining to each other how it works. “Aha!” the class exclaimed as they understood the connection between the sun and the water on Earth.
