The IB PYP curriculum revolves around six Transdisciplinary Themes. For each grade, homeroom teachers and specialists come together to design a Central Idea for each theme that is appropriate for the developmental stage of the grade. The Central Idea, together with Lines of Inquiries developed to guide students learning, form the Unit of Inquiry. Students will learn knowledge and skills of different subjects, which is guided by the PYP scopes and sequence, within the context of the Unit of Inquiry where appropriate. They will also develop the IB Learner Profile attributes alongside the acquiring of concepts, knowledge and skills. The collection of all the Units of Inquiries from Nursery to G6 forms the Program of Inquiry, which is the main body of the PYP curriculum.
